Borboleta Aftercare Videos

Borboleta Beauty built their business on selling lash extensions directly to professional lash artists. However, they saw a unique opportunity to branch into consumer products with aftercare products for daily use. Hint art directed the photography and video for their first consumer targeted campaign “Aftercare that feels like skincare.” The campaign was an instant success, with a 100% boost in sales, selling out multiple times in the first six months.

The Westgate Hotel Website

Posted by

Located on the edge of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, The Westgate Hotel is a practically untouched 1970s interpretation of the legendary Palace of Versailles. Its distinctively European ambiance is conjured by French antiques, Flemish and French tapestries, Baccarat crystal chandeliers, exquisite French cuisine, and heartfelt hospitality.

As part of the Grand America Hotels and Resorts family, The Westgate needed a website that integrated well with the family of properties, while also retaining their signature brand of hospitality. Our approach was based on three areas of focus: 1. Develop a strategic brand platform that accurately positions the Westgate in the crowded San Diego market, 2. Refresh their brand image with photography that showcases their enchanting environment, 3. Create a website that feels standardized with other properties but customized to The Westgate’s unique experience.

Since opening as a roadside travelers’ oasis over 60 years ago, The Little America Hotel has expanded to 4 locations in the West, and hosted visitors from all over the globe. Each location is independently managed and closely integrated into its surrounding community.

As part of the Grand America Hotels and Resorts family, The Little America needed a website that integrated well with the family of properties, while also retaining their signature brand of hospitality. Our approach was based on three areas of focus: 1. Develop a strategic brand platform that accurately communicates their shared heritage and values, as well as their unique locales, 2. Refresh their brand image with sophisticated yet approachable visuals, 3. Create a website that feels standardized with other properties but customized to Little America’s unique experience.

Hint created a stop motion animation featuring the unboxing of the experience, capturing the care and craftsmanship of the Spoonful of Comfort brand. This directly addressed one of Spoonful of Comforts biggest challenges, helping people quick understand what was in the box.

The Grand America Hotel Website

The Grand America Hotel is the largest Forbes and AAA rated hotel in Salt Lake City Utah. They are known for their luxury convention facilities, gracious accommodations, attention to detail and personalized service. All rooms and suites in their 24-story hotel feature handcrafted Richelieu furniture, original works of art, inviting balconies, and large Italian marble bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase breathtaking views of Salt Lake City and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Hint helped identify that their gracious accommodations, attention to detail and personalized service were not translating in their site experience. Our approach was based on three areas of focus: 1. Develop a strategic brand platform that embodied their luxurious in-person experience 2. Refresh their brand image through large impactful imagery. 3. Rebuild the website from the ground up with a responsive design.

The Grand has seen 30% increase in conversions and 50% increase in ecommerce, and dwell time was up an impressive 83% in the first 6 months.

Cotopaxi Gear for Good Campaign

Hint partnered with Nate Morley and Cotopaxi to develop their 2017 Brand Campaign concept. We all worked closely as a tight-knit team playing to the strengths of each stakeholder. The campaign leveraged and extended their Gear for Good tagline into something bigger. Hint’s task was to visually interpret the concept and create a system that could work in a variety of mediums and touch points. The visual system was designed to be easily be executed by Cotopaxi internal team and additional agency partners.
