The Salt Lake City chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, puts on the annual 100 Show, a prestigious juried competition where the year’s best design is honored and showcased at a gala. Traditionally a local studio is asked to design the identity system for the gala each year.
The Salt Lake City chapter approached Hint to design the 2009 AIGA 100 Show identity which included a logo and book representing the top 100 projects. Hint’s team used unique typographical effects to create an aesthetically interesting booklet. Local press, Mandate Press, produced the covers with unique printing techniques. A special edition poster acted as the dust jacket and a discovery element.
