Babe Original Rebrand

Babe Lash brand created a loyal following around an amazing lash serum that frankly just worked. Over the years, they added an arsenal of performance cosmetics (cosmetics that all have lasting results). As the brand grew, so did their loyal following. However, their product architecture and positioning became fragmented as they added more non-lash products. Hint led Babe Lash through a full brand refresh, starting with strategy, a gradual visual update in 2021, which culminated in a comprehensive rename and rebrand, launched in mid 2022.

Our approach was based on 3 areas of focus:
1. Establish a strategic brand platform that embodies their core values of originality, confidence, inclusion, and effectiveness.
2. Overhaul their product architecture and naming.
3. Establish a cohesive look and feel to fully express their brand platform.

The gradual update saw immediate results:
– 133% Increase in sales YOY, for the month the first campaign launched
– 236% Growth Overall in 2021
– 124% Increase in First Time Customers Q3 2021 YOY
– 300% Increase in Returning Customers Q3 2021 YOY

We are very proud and excited to share this website. The website is rooted in a solid brand strategy which greatly informed the UI/UX. It is a custom-built, component-based website and holds an enormous amount of information while remaining clear and concise. We partnered with the killer Dev team at voltagead.com to make it happen.

Meet Crucial Learning. They help people learn crucial skills to improve themselves through award winning courses and best selling books.

We are very proud and excited to share this brand refresh. We loved working with the Crucial Learning team. It was a long time in the making. They went through a name change, survived the COVID-19 Pandemic and came out stronger on the other side. During the course of the brand refresh, Crucial Learning pivoted from a focus on in-person training to remote training. 

The refresh was rooted in a solid brand strategy which greatly informed the refreshed brand. There was not much that the refresh did not encompass. We did it all from brand identity, business papers, illustrations, and an extensive brand standards guide.

The greatest accomplishment of the Crucial Learning rebrand was a custom-built, component-based website. It held an enormous amount of information while remaining clear and concise. We partnered with the killer Dev team at voltagead.com to make it happen.

You & Yours Branding

You & Yours Distilling Co. is located in the East Village of sunny San Diego, California. They are a destination distillery, tasting room, event space and cocktail bar, complete with a cocktail program highlighting their signature craft spirits: Y&Y Vodka (a classic vodka) and Sunday Gin (a citrus-noted gin).

They were founded by Laura Johnson, who is one of a handful of female head distillers in the country. Y&Y is a direct result of Laura not being hired as a distiller in a male-dominated industry. So she created her own, and built it around the idea of bringing people together. Hint was tasked with creating the brand identity for You & Yours Distilling Co. and the packaging and branding for their two signature lines. The logo was custom drawn, a representation of their 100% craft distilled spirits. Laura describes You & Yours’ aesthetic as “approachable yet aspirational. I wanted it to be inviting and pleasing to the eye, yet still be a bit eclectic, relaxed yet sophisticated.”

The packaging reflects the authenticity of the brand. Each spirit was designed to be unique, drawing inspiration from their distinct ingredients. Sunday Gin: citrus-forward with notes of fresh florals and herbs. Y&Y Vodka: a blend of single-source distillates of corn, potato, and grape. The result was a visual system which allows for each spirit family to stand on its own while tying back to You & Yours Distilling Co. family.

5 For The Fight Brand Refresh

Five For The Fight is a cancer research charity foundation, sponsored by Qualtrics, based in Provo Utah. They have partnered with the Utah Jazz and the new NBA jersey sponsorship program. Instead of putting their company logo on the jersey they have showed leadership and innovation in promoting their charity. We are truly honored to be a part of such visionary thinking and leadership.

Hint Teamed up with / Morley to refresh their brand identity and website specifically for their jersey sponsorship with the Utah Jazz. The main application is a patch that will be worn on the 2017-2018 Utah Jazz NBA jerseys. The website drives awareness and helps collect donations. We encourage everyone to donate $5, write the name of who you’re donating on behalf of, and post on social media using #5ForTheFight.
